Can you believe this park rule?

Looking for a place to stay for a month or more in Houston and found this rule at Katy Lake RV Resort.
"If law Enforcement is called for any reason other than medical or fire emergency you will be asked to leave at that time with NO Refund or prorating of your site cost."
Say a neighbor is shooting a gun at another neighbor and I call the cops. I will be asked to leave and forfeit any remaining balance.
WOW! Guess where we are not staying. KATY LAKE RV RESORT

Don't you think that it refers to calls about you and not calls from you??

Is that what you think????!!! First obviously , it means if the cops are called to YOUR rig for a disturbance say domestic violence, drugs etc the person visited for the problem will be evicted .. not the person calling ! Interesting logic on your part ...
I wouldn't stay there for the real reason .. they obviously have a drug / semihomeless problem and are visited by police a lot and trying to stop it . I don't care to be in a park with those problems.

or they dont have the problems and dont want any. no drunks, domestic disturbances, or people that just create problems in general. i have seen this type of no tolerance policy before. its the type of policy enforcement i like, and look for. thanks for listing it.

"BUT officer I AM THE ONE THAT CALLED!!!"

Personally I like the rule.......
But like 'BillJinOP' posted............must be a ongoing problem/numerous police responses for them to have that as a RULE.
Pass.....no thanks----------I prefer to NOT have to shoot it out

If you absolutely must stay at this park you can always find out how many PD calls have been for this park. Either through the PD website or. FOIA request.

I like the rule and think they have it to keep it nice. More places should use that rule, the people who can't control themselves can go somewhere else.

I believe the rule but I'm struggling with your interpretation of it. As already stated common sense would say it is for the offenders not the one making the call.

Mmmm... In reading the rule it looks like everyone will be asked to leave, not just you... (-:

Instead of jumping to conclusions, why don't visit with management, then make your decision.

just poorly written. i would have the policy read something like "if management and/or approved employees need to call the police concerning your activities and property and/or those of your guests..... so and so will happen"
and
"if the police are called by any campers and/or their guests concerning other campground campers and/or their guests management will decide who,if anyone, is to leave". "management may ask both parties to leave".

Personally, I probably wouldn't be staying at a place that found it necessary to implement a rule like this.

Given the nature of litigation in today's society I would assume they had an incident and consulted their attorney about warnings and recourse.
