Cannot flush black tank

Dumped the black tank yesterday with no issues. When I hooked up the hose to the flushing connection, no water would flow. Checked the hose, no problem. Hooked up to the gray tank, no problem. Water will not flow into tank but worked fine the previous time I flushed.

Suggestions as to what to check or do.

Check the mesh strainer just inside the flush connection.

Ours did the same thing a while ago. In our case, the tiny hole was plugged. Tiffin recommended taking it apart and drilling a bigger hole with a 1/8” bit. Worked fine after that

Screen was clear. Even removed it, put in a washer, and installed the hose again. Still not flushing.

The back flow preventer valve is probably screwed up.

Our flusher was very weak. The nozzle in the side of the tank was almost completely clogged, including about two inches of the hose going into it! I removed the nozzle, cleaned it, cut the hose to remove the crud, and coupled it back together. You would not believe the difference!

I found out why it happened. There was no screen in the flusher inlet!

Probably anti siphon valve. It's somewhere in the water line and higher than the black tank. If it's real cold it could even be frozen shut or it could just be bad.

Most of them look something like this
