It may a little expensive at first, but I use Eternabond tape to seal all of my seams on the roof. Remove any old caulk and then apply the Eternabond tape to the seams on the roof.
I found a 50' roll of tape on Amazon that was inexpensive compared to a RV store selling the tape.
I still check my roof seams every year, but I have had no issues with water penetration on my trailer.
