Exclamation Carpet

I found that old carpet and dogs, cats and sloppy me don't get along. I could never get the carpet clean enough for me and spending my time cleaning carpet when I could be doing something fun just didn't make sense to me so I pulled up the old carpet and put down press down tiles from the dollar store now I can sweep and mop in a few minutes and we're clean. Later when the dog passes on to doggie heaven I may use the carpet tiles to re-capet the rig then again if it takes to much effort to heck with it

I sure agree with that. We are spending so much on everything else right now, it won't be replaced for awhile. And there is hardwood in the kitchen/dining and not sure what I will match that with, but something will come along.

But yes a wood, tile, or vinyl is so easy to care for that's what I want.

To all who recommended "Totally Awesome". It has brought our tan carpet back from the grungy looking what can we use to cover it up and hide how bad it looks to........well........clean. One more time over the heaviest of stained areas and it should look as good as new.

It has put a on DW's face.

I rented a carpet cleaning machine and used TA instead of carpet cleaning chemicals.
I posted a review of using Totally Awesome here.
