I can usually find what I'm looking for on the internet, but this time I'm stumped. I'm looking for plans for a building I can park the motorhome in with living space above. Something I can put up for a home base to come back to when we need a break from fulltiming in the motorhome. Anyone seen such plans?

It sounds like you are looking for a house on stilts?
In the "hurricane alley" of the SouthEast are many builders that erect homes on very solid foundations that will be higher than the storm surge.
You might try something like realtor.com and look for vacation homes in GA or NC or FLA.

Some of the home plan books ( outside drawinigs and floor plans) have a few with a "mother in law type appartment above the garage. These are in the garage section of these books. Sometimes found at Lowe's or Home Depot ect. Also look in your local book stores. Hope this helps. Joe

Most homes with RV Ports have the living quarters along side rather than above. I suspect that is becasue of the ceiling height needed for an RV - the "upstairs" would almost 2 stories up, a long climb with a couple bags of groceries.
If youhaven't yet done so, try a net search on RV Port plans and see what comes up.

Here's what I had in mind. Look at the pic of the structure at the top of the webpage in the link below.
