ceiling fan size and brand
ok guys here we go again. one of my jobs was an electrician. on home ceiling fans i always advised my custumers to buy 52" or bigger inexpensive ones ( the expensive ones have to be sent back to the manufacture for repair) they all go out. the larger the slower you can spin the blades to move the air (52"on med if fine -- 44" needs to stay on high). ok that being said what have you guys got, the brand, inchs, and speed you normaly keep it on. (i enjoy doing projects but hate it when i screw up)--- second question) i see we can get 60" 12 volt fans -- is anyone out there using them outside to keep flying insects away at night. bugs don't like moving air. (in los angeles our new fastfood rest. have what are called air curtains on the doors and drive-up windows to help keep the bugs out. let me thank all of you for you input as always you guys are great.

Since we have a slide out I was forced to go the other way. Small, higher rpm, higher blade cant, hallway unit. Just barely clears the slideout when in and my head when in the walkway around the end of the bed. And, if I stand on the slightly raised engine cover and lean in it HURTS my head!

36" above the bed, 110v always on low , when in use, moves all the air we need it to. Factory item.
NOTE TO SELF. Do not make the bed with the fan running, AGAIN !

We use a tower fan standing in one of the closets in the bedroom. Works great!

Our bedroom fan in the coach is a 12v, 4 blade, 40"ceiling hugger. Two speed and reversible. I don't know the brand - it was factory equipment and no eternal label on it.
