Cheap and easy meat smoker

Spent the weekend camping at Cuirve River State Park, Missouri, one of our favorite close parks and wanted to smoke some ribs but not haul smoker around. So I made a very cheap and functional smoker using an adjustable grill and some thin oven bottom trays. And it worked very well. Way too hot this weekend to stand outside and watch meat cook. Just had to add charcoal and wood chips a couple of times, turn the ribs and coat with Sweet Baby Rays. Click image for larger version

After 3 hours

Not sure why they are shifting 90 degrees. But they were tasty and tender.
