I don't have a griddle but put my grill on one of these.
Small top. Hard for grease to spatter it if the griddle overhangs the top.
When we don't want to clean the top of it we just throw down some aluminum foil.
Compact enough. Downside is it may not be large enough on top to set your griddle on properly.
