Cheapest propane in Tucson for class A?
Where is the best place in Tucson for Class A propane fill up? (Non removable propane tank)
We roam the various BLM around Tucson and Phx all winter so we can plan ahead to make anything "on route" (ie, avoid driving across town just to save a few bucks)

If you are a Costco member, the Marana location has propane and is usually a good price. If not, I would second Barrett's in Tucson, right off I-10 on the frontage road. A little hard to find, but not that difficult.

I filled our onboard propane tank at Costco. It is by far the best price.
It does take patience to maneuver through the parking lot traffic.

Propane
I have mine delivered, so I dont have to deal with traffic and parking lots. American Propane, they come when ever I call and are here within 1 day or two

Be aware of sticker shock. Propane prices are high right now. I was quoted between $3 & $5 per gallon.

Arizona propane is what we landed on. $2.50 per gallon

Unless you are talking about 100's of gallons I can not imagine that a few cents difference is going to make that much of an impact. It may cost you more in fuel to get to a cheaper place then just going some place that is convenient. Just my opinion.

Just got propane delivered to the sticks and bricks...$1.79/gallon. Up from $1.29 ish from the summer. I also looked at historic prices. pretty similar year over year...higher in the winter, lower in the summer.

Totally agree.
But... given that we have a 40gal propane tank which lasts us upwards of 3 months, and we move every couple weeks or so from BLM/USFS spot to BLM/USFS spot, we have the luxury of planning propane stops en route at the cheapest places because we end up all over town at some point or another. All without much added mileage, if any.

Are there delivery trucks that can fill Class A tanks? That would be amazing! Or are they delivering portable tanks to you?
If they have trucks that can fill Class A's, do they need a street address or will they accept GPS, if it's easy access?
I understand these are kind of off-the-wall questions. Appreciate anyone's insight!

I think delivery is in the bigger RV parks.... and it's usually more expensive in RV parks.

Most if not all propane trucks can fill your mounted tank, but I have found that they will not make a delivery for less than 100 gallons. I lived on propane and they would fill my RV when filling my 500 gal tank if I asked them to. If you are in a park that is on a route they stop at for individual rigs I suppose you could get it that way.
