Man, someone did a really nice job chopping those together. Wonder what the inside looks like. Wasn't sure you could make a Beetle more dangerous but apparently you can.

I used to see the Toyota campers around once in a while but they seem to have mostly disappeared.

I was gonna say there might be a slide on the other side, but it'd probably turn it over.

I'd like to see the inside too. I still see a Toyota every now and then.

I just saw one of those on the show "full Custom Garage"
The owner said it was a '77 and you could order it that way. He didn't say if it was factory or aftermarket, but he did say there were only 200 made so it sounds aftermarket.
The inside was tiny, but it did have a booth for seating and I saw a 2 burner cooktop in the back.

Its paint scheme sure is different then the typical wild paints you see on every A these days. I kind of like the more simple one racing stripe using Chevrolet orange.

Interior shot here.

Do a Google Image Search for Super Bugger to find more images and some interior shots.

Oh man, me as well!!! I've owned a ton of bugs, buses, and currently have a trike that I built with an 1835 in it.

It would need a good power plant to pull hills.
