Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

Does anyone know if the Florida Sun Pass is accepted at the CBBT at this time?

Not according to this:

https://turnpikeinfo.com/ezpass-sunpass.php

Also, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel has a height restriction of 13'6" and an LP gas restriction.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel uses the EZPASS system. There is a place to pull over before the bridge/tunnel to turn off your propane.

As to the turn off before the bridge/tunnel to turn off your propane at, with the speed of traffic whizzing by it's hard to safely merge back onto the highway at that point. This turnout should be considered a last resort option.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel propane turnoff requires you to pull off at the inspection area. The attendant checks that it's off and writes down your tag.

I have heard that if you don't stop at the inspection area you may get pulled over by the Virginia State Police.

On the other tunnels (HRBT & MMBT), the likelihood of getting run down for skipping inspection is very low. However, I would not skip it at the CBBT. They have their own police force, with time on their hands, and the state police at their disposal. Furthermore, the toll attendants will also ask/remind you about it.

I don't recall any difficulties merging back into traffic at any of them. More often than not, the traffic is at a standstill at the HRBT anyway!
