Christmas decorations

Im not much for decorating vehicles for the holidays. But do this every year, because we’re usually on the road during the season.

Lets see what ya got! In the spirit of Peace on Earth, no gripes about annoying lights in the camp ground please!

We just moved to a new spot and have not put up any decorations this year.

Wow, only one reply. Bah Humbug.

So, here's #2:

Full timing we carry very limited holiday decorations so we supplement them by making a visit to the dollar store. A few bucks gives us some stuff for outside which gets tossed after the holidays. We'd keep it but them, but then we wouldn't have room to carry the tree around with us the rest of the year.

Easy to find.

Neighbors won't mind.

Dual function.

Merry Christmas,
Stu

P.S. Pretty much just kidding.

Last 2 days, today included, is a travel day. Decorations are breaking out tomorrow if not later today.

This is what I did when we had our Dutch Star:

I hung them with a row of cup hooks to the bottom of the overhead cabinets. They didn't hang down past the inside shade, so they could stay lit even when under way. They did not cause any reflection on the inside of the window.

I put a life size Grinch doll on the sofa and a leg lamp in the window. I’m really into trailer park trash.

Which reminds me I need to order some pink flamingos.

We have one string of traditional multi color small christmas lights that we string across the dash that were bought on clearance for I think $3.50

One thing that I have never heard of is a RV Christmas parade. Slab sided RVs would make for a perfect canvas for imaginations to run wild.

Think how magical it could be running slowly down Main St, street lights off, no headlights, nothing but lights on the RVs & store window displays.

I have taken part in 8 boat parades. Lots of work. Very challenging if there is even only a little wind on the water since boats don't have brakes. Great fun. The parades would have upwards of 100 boats. Everything from little 20' center consoles to 100' plus commercial tourboats.

The party really got going after the parade when we would raftup somewhere for the night & not have to think about driving home.
