You are not allowed to smoke in casinos in Ontario. Even the ones on Indian land. Maybe other provinces, I am not sure.

Have ran into several (if not more) rabid non smokers in campgrounds...and else where...
Just asked them to kindly demonstrate their ability to walk on water..until the time that they can...DO NOT expect me to abide by your wants/desires/life choices/ politics, or religion.... please stay in your own corner of your "Politically Correct and Perfect" world....With your mouth firmly taped shut.

I have but it was not cigarettes they were talking about. Colorado campground making it clear that campsites are considered public spaces.

Got to say i kind of like the tone of this thread.
Plenty of mind you own bussines and if ya dont like it move along replies in contrast to other threads on this forum.
Folks need to learn rvers come from all sorts of backgrounds, are different ages, have different like and dislikes. I know rvers who are vegan, never drink, never drink caffinated beverages and i know rvers who drink way to much, smoke weed and eat pork and red meat two or three times a day.
I dont judge any of them because it is different than i choose to live. As long as the vegan aint forcing a vegan hot dog on me at a campfire (seen one, dont do it ever!) or slipping pork into every pot luck meal without telling us cause hey everyone likes pork (except for those who wont eat it due to religion) I dont care what they do.
Yes i understand how ironic it is that i judge judgemental people.

I’m a non smoker. I’m also asthmatic and smoke is a trigger. And that includes campfire smoke.
But I can smell cigarette smoke on people who do smoke even if I don’t see them smoking. My asthma is bad enough that I can not stand near someone who does smoke but not smoking in my presence. That’s MY issue as long as it’s not in my house, my car, or right in my breathing space. Next rig over, their choice.
Question for those who do smoke but not in their rig or vehicle...and no offense intended cause I truly don’t understand. Don’t you realize it’s in your clothes and on your skin, in your hair, etc and rubbing off on the inside of your rig/car, etc? I’ve got a friend who never smoked inside his house but you can still smell it on his furniture inside.
I do understand it’s your choice as long as it’s not affecting my breathing. And as long as I can walk away, it’s not.

This is why I keep to myself at campgrounds. Yeah. I'll nod to you. Maybe say hello. Most people at the campground have judged you already just by what you showed up in to begin with.
And then when you by chance don't live your life by their terms, you're truly a second class citizen. I light up a smoke or two during a day of relaxation at my campsite. Or if the units are close, on a walk to the john. I try to be as courteous as possible, and you still get the death stare from the holier than thous...
I have found that some RV people can be the whiniest bunch sometimes.....

I guess I have to give him credit for not throwing them on the ground, but at least then he might grind them in a little and maybe they wouldn't stink so much.
I wish he'd smoke inside his own RV instead of inflicting it on others.

I enjoyed my cigar and rum and coke while reading D-day by Stephan Ambrose tonight out in front of the coach. Didn't bother anyone that I am aware of? We are in the monthly rate part of the park. We all know each other and get along fine. RV life is good!
Oh, I don't complain to other RVers who choose to watch their outside TVs with the volume cranked up. Yes, that is rude as well, but we should all make allowances for others who may not have the same lifestyles. Same with the folks who cannot pull into a site without loudly yelling profanities at each other in anger...

And people who have dogs who pee in the home etc. Or stinky diapers, omg sometimes the worst What else can we all moan about how other's live? Every darn aspect of their life. At some point ya have to just hush up about all this stuff (not you personally, I mean everyone in general on this)
The world can't go on a rampage for every darn pet peeve every person has on this planet....oh wait, they do and it is annoying has heck

So do I
I think it is 'cause they want solitude as in camping off on trail by themselves in the middle of nowhere and have absolute privacy and peace and control over their surroundings, yet they 'camp in the tightest parking lot campgrounds' to have all their comforts yet complain about others doing the same darn thing and how those others conduct themselves. Hey just a theory Rv'ers want that open road, wind in their hair, freedom and end up in a parking lot full of campers with the neighbors boxing you in like 10 ft away from your door.

Well, it stinks outside, too, especially in close quarters.

But why leave them on all night long? You're not looking at them, and they might be bothering someone else. So why do it?

Oh, I did. I was outside filling the fresh water tank when the stale cigarette butt smell hit me. Trust me--I didn't spend any more time outside than was necessary.

I don't either, because what they're doing doesn't affect me. My neighbor's smoking does affect me. I just don't understand why, if people shouldn't be bothered by cigarette smoke, smokers don't smoke inside their own RVs. And if it stinks too much for the smoker, think about how the nonsmoker it's inflicted on feels.

Actually, I had been there for several days when this guy moved in and took the last space.
And I did leave the next day. (I hadn't said anything to him because the first day he showed up, I said hello and he just kind of grumped at me, so I let him be.)
I went out to unplug and when I came around the back got hit with cigarette smoke so I went back inside to wait it out. Then I went back out and he was still sitting in his chair right on the line between our spaces, about five feet from the exhaust pipe of my diesel motorhome, playing on his phone.
As I was stowing the power cord right by there, I pointed at the exhaust pipe and said, "Just so you know, we're about to start the engine up," you know, to be polite and warn him because he was so close and I don't like to be in the line of fire when that happens.
He said, "Okay" and didn't move. So I moved out of the way of the exhaust pipe and gave the signal to start the engine, with him right there.

Oh I realize that other things stink up a home. But unlike cats, dogs, babies we knowingly take inside, it’s the idea that as long as one smokes outside only it won’t smell up the inside of a house/rig/vehicle. It will simply cause the smoke stays on the clothes, in the hair, etc. That’s the part I don’t understand. Maybe they’ve gone nose blind?
If someone smokes, as long as it’s not in my space where I have NO exit, that’s their business. I can only control my behavior.

I get ya, but a smoker smokes and handles 'their stink' as their situation Nose blind or not nose blind, it is their choice, some might smell the smell in their home even if they don't smoke in it or some might never smell it...I don't think it will ever matter to a smoker actually
