Seriously, road trips are for the TOAD.

Seventeen miles down a washboard FS road I found the perfect lakeside campground I had been told about. Except for the 17 miles.

My paper map showed that I could keep going. My TOAD is not 4wd. The FS road had a section that looked like this leading down a river. At the bottom was a fishing camp with RVs boats. The road going up the other side was not much better.

I am not sure how the RVs got there. Fishing must have been really good.

He's not even eligible for a Darwin award, he lived through the adventure and didn't emasculate himself.

He was from Colorado and didn't have sense to check out the road first with his car? We've been on that road with our Jeep doing some geocaching. Unbelievable!!! That must have been some tow bill!!

This is why I tow a Jeep Commander with lockers front and rear with a heavy duty tow strap. I don't want to be that guy
