Cleaning moldy vinyl/canvas

Our son just bought a used Jayco Pop-up trailer. Sleeps 8 and has everything but a generator. Have not seen it in person.

Previous owner put it away wet before, and there and stains in the canvas (vinyl on canvas?) inside and out.

Looking for a good cleaner(s) to remove the stains and any possible mold.

Thanks in advance!

This stuff is amazing. 30 second outdoor cleaner found at home depot and probably other home centers.

Label states good on cloth. But do test first in an inconspicuous spot.

Bruce91,
Thanks. Will pick some up and give it a cautious try.
As Ransil stated, site search was worthless. That is why I posted

Spray bottle of Tilex Mold/Mildew (buy a couple for really dirty awnings)

Fully extend awning.
Then walk along roller edge liberally spraying TOP of awning as someone else SLOWLY retracts awning.
(Wet TOP rolls up against bottom side as awning is retracted)

Let sit rolled up for 30 minutes....sit back relax, have a cold one

Then fully extend and rinse with hose top/bottom of awning
ANY stains left....respray and lightly scrub with brush.

Mold/mildew grows on the dirt that is on awning.....the material itself is pretty resistant so they usually come clean with just a spray/soak/rinse job

I use Scrubbing Bubbles. Be careful with some of those chemicals as some do a good job of cleaning but are hard on the stitching.

Have him look into products made by 3M. They have some great mildew removers, blockers and kits for this type of problem.

I bought a boat that had the same problem. Believe it or not, the only thing that brought that canvas back without bleaching it out in spots was good old Pine-Sol!
