You're going to want more than one membership. We have Good Sam and Passport America. There's some other good ones that others can comment on.

There are several major camping clubs, an internet search will reveal them to you. They have 10%>50% discounts. You must decide which is best for you, as each has it's own family (quantity) of CG's. This means your destinations and overnight stops are the determining factor.
We have been content with Good Sam Club.

That may mean "camping clubs" are welcome. In other words, call the campground to make reservations for your camping club to stay there.

If you are looking for camping discounts, several clubs are better than GS, which gets only 10% off in 1600 RV parks. Passport America, Happy Camper, Camp Club USA, and Freedom Resorts all offer 25%-50% discounts at numerous places.
But if you are looking for a local camping group to join, then a GS chapter near you might suit.

We've been GS members for 6 years and have enjoyed every minute. We have taken advantage of their benefits also. If you want to join a local chapter. check out their website.

Hi chadandapril,
When a CG says clubs are welcome, that usually means chapters of larger organizations like NKK, GS, FMCA, etc. The discount can vary depending on the negotiating skill of the chapter officer has in negotiate price. As an individual, the discounts vary by organization. GS offers 10% at the most CGs. I think FMCA is the same, but the number of CGs is less. I belong to GS, FMCA, PA, and NKK. Take a look at each organization and determine which meets your needs. There are many other reasons to join one or more of the clubs. If you like, look into a local chapter. One can find them on the club's Internet site. Attend an outing or two as a visitor/guest. There is a lot to be said for joining a local chapter of a club.

Read the fine print for CGs that advertise big discounts. We are already GS members, extended warranty and road side assistance members. I almost joined another club after seeing 50% off at a CG we would have loved to stay at. The membership would have paid for itself in about one night. Then I noticed the fine print "half off regular season rate off season".
