Coach-Net vs Good Sam vs AAA

I'm sure this has been covered before but I couldn't find any threads. What do you guys use to cover your motor homes and are you happy?

I have Good Sam but since I've been AAA for 30 years they added RV service for a few dollars a year more.
Rather have the extra coverage

To me, Coach Net and GS are a toss up, AAA is out. AAA doesn't always know how to handle big rigs and big rig problems.

I went with Coach.Net in 2012 and dropped AAA. It was my understanding AAA RV assistance was not available in all states and intra-state coverage in some states was only available in select locations. I only used Coach.Net once to have a tire change on a car; no issues.

I recently had to use my coach net tow service. Quality of the tow vehicle, timely arrival, a follow up call from coach net to see if they were there which they were in just over an hour from first call. Took him 3/4 of an hour to hook up and disconnect the driveshaft. I rode with him as DW followed. Only had to go about 15miles from my storage and he took all back roads never going over 30 mph.

I have Good Sams and AAA RV. I used it twice with my old coach.
GS was a 1 1/2 hour wait and would only take us to the nearest service station, AAA was a 1/2 hour wait and would take the coach to Redlands Truck & RV my mechanic which was 60 miles no charge😁

I've been with Coach Net for 7 years and I really like them. I've used them three times for emergency service work while on the road. First time the serpentine belt broke. I was near D.C. and the service truck was there in less then an hour. Total time till I was back on the road was two hrs. Plus Coach Net called me back to ask if I was satisfied with the service tech.
I'm sold on them.

Good morning everyone.
As we talk roadside assistance. I use GS now and have for years. No issues using them. I recently joined FMCA. They also have roadside assistance. What are your thoughts on FMCA roadside assistance. Have you used them? How long have you had their program? Would recommend their program?

Another question: I see that many of the insurance companies I am looking at for RV coverage also include roadside assistance. Is this ok or do I still need either CN or GS coverage????

One of the gotcha deals I have seen written up is that typically the rv centric deals will come into a camp ground, AAA will not. No big deal in the road but can be if you get something like a tire that goes flat overnight. Given that we have both. The rider on AAA also gives up longer tow distances on cars and possibly a few other perks.

The problem with all the services is that they do not own the tow service so they have to find someone in the area you are in who will do the tow for what the insurance will pay. That is often a problem. AAA has an established network most places so they would be our first go to on the road.

I had AAA for several years. I needed service twice and both times AAA was not up to the task. They sent people who had no idea about motor homes. I now have good sam. Have not used their service.

Had AAA for 25 years, added my RV a few a ago, in Nevada had a minor issue with tire, they had to call an RV specific shop to assist, also if I needed to be towed, they couldn't do it. I would need to contact an RV tow company myself.
Now GS and Coachnet.
