Has anyone used the 3/8" coiled hoses for their drinking water supply?

We have been using this for 4 years. Zero issues. I have two mounting brackets on the inside of the water bay door and coil the hose up on it when not in use. Easy access, easy store. Used to carry it in a coffee can, the brackets are simpler and easier. https://www.amazon.com/TheFitLife-Fl...n%2C322&sr=1-5

Maybe I'm wrong but the coiled hose looks to be much more convenient to use.

Does the 3/8" diameter adversely affect the water flow?

This is the one I am looking at:

We started using the coiled hose about a month ago. It does restrict the flow somewhat, but not enough for us to care. It is so much more convenient, we deal with the slight different in water flow. We find showers, kitchen faucet and commode are just fine. Go for it!

We have used Zero G for a year and experienced our first potentialissue today. Not sure if it is fatal, but far prefer them than the old blue and white hoses even if they only last a year. Easier to store and handle on installation.

Built in Power Hose Reels are GREAT!

I realize these are expensive, but darn, they are sooo nice. Push the button, the hose reels up and you're off. Highly recommended. There may be cheaper places to get these, but here's what I'm talking about.

My MH had a manual reel. Got rid of it real quick. The white hose on it was twisted and kinked. Water wouldn't flow unless the whole hose was unrolled and laid out. It was a real pain to reel up the hose. The automatics sound nice but a little pricey for me.

Also, it was in the wet bay along with the poop shoot. I understand why it's called the wet bay but I just don't like the drinking water hose stored so close to the sewer. I prefer to wrap it up and store elsewhere.

I don't make a science project out of rolling up the hose or storing it. I drain the hose, roll it up by hand and screw the ends together to keep drips out of my storage compartment, wipe the hose off and toss the hose into my compartment.
I carry a second hose "just in case" but haven't needed it in the seven years I have used my white hose.

I used to screw the hose ends together, until I thought about storing a wet sealed hose in a frequently warm environment. Bacteria would love that. Now, I leave the ends open.

I'm still trying to rationalize that in my mind, why did they do that?

In both of our TC's they were separate, in the Flair they were separate, only in the "better" Monaco were they stuck in the same small space. I don't like it much either, and keep my fresh water hose as far away from there as possible.

Must be a Monaco/Holiday Rambler thing. My previous TT's and 5th wheel were in separate areas.

I screw the ends together to keep anything foreign out and keeping any left over water from leaking into my storage compartment.
I do not drink the water that flows through my hose nor do we use it for cooking.

We carry 2 25' 5/8" white hoses. Usually only need one. After reading the posts, I'm considering the Flexzilla 50' (just in case).

I recently found this hose reel and installed it into the bay. Coils up the Camco 50' hose easily and keeps the clutter down. Also, at the same time, you can see the water filtration system I installed, while I was in there.
