We have automatic jacks, so need for a drill in regards to those. My daughters use to have trailers and they used the drills for the jacks, they were great.
Since I don't have a need for one that often, I have a corded 3/8 drill I keep in my toolbox. With an onboard generator, I'll always have power.
In my situation, I found having a cordless screwdriver is more useful for repairs. I have a garage full of Milwaukee cordless tools, but didn't feel I needed that quality of a tool for the RV. For occasional screwdriver needs on the road, I bought an inexpensive cordless screwdriver at Lowes, that has an articulating handle. It holds a charge for quite awhile and came with several bits.
I bought one like this....I'm not a fan of Black and Decker, but it's good for limited use.
