Couch /Bed replacement

I have a 2012 Itasca sunstar 26p with a sleeper sofa. Air bed is terrible and I want to put in a double recliner with console. The slide is going to be about 4-6 inches too small front to back. The question I have is will the metal frame rails of the loveseat bridge or carry the 4 inches overhang or should I put a piece of plywood over the existing slide floor ? Thanks.

I extended my slideout platform by @ 5" when I was installing new flooring. This is what we bought and are very happy with them.

If you don't want to extend the sideout, they also have rollers that you can add to the seat,

Give them a call.

For some furniture look at Bontrager's in White Pigeon, Mi... Wife bought a new theater seating from them in September 2022.
