Couch removal

I have an 04 holiday rambler ambassador 38 ft / 4 slides. The wife wants me to yank out the couch/airbed and replace it with a couple RV recliners she bought. I can easily get the recliners in through the door ….my concern is going to be getting couch out through the door. I had one person tell me the couch was put in before the slide out was put in. Has anyone been successful in removing the couch through the door 🙏
Thanks !
Mark

As mentioned above, there should be 2 bolts on either side near where the back meets the seat. Just remove the seat cushions and you should see them. Remove the mattress 1st, makes it easier to see these.
Ours is back together and now in our older son’s home.

I had to deal with this recently. Replaced 16' factory coach with 19.2' leather one. We wound up getting it inside by removing the main window, which is easier than one may think. My RV has two 3~x4~ foot main windows which can be easily removed by just unscrewing the screws around it.

Buy some 1/2" butyl seal tape to re-seal if you go this route.

I have removed two different couches. Both came apart into several pieces. Take a picture of them first so you can advertise them on fb marketplace. I was able to sell both of them. You won't get a lot for them but it's better than paying to get rid of them. The first one was bought by a young couple that had the same thing in theirs, but it broke they said.
