Just bought the Cricket this week. Discovered my Son was in Agusta, GA with a Ford explorer and had room to bring it back (saved shipping costs). Got the camo version for a few extra dollars and the carry ramp. Can carry it in or on the ramp with my Jeep, or on a ramp behind the motorhome. Very easy to load and fun to drive. Works well for my wife and I with our mobility issues. Only regret is that I didn't get one earlier

Just wondering how these are holding up, I guess there are no dealers and you have to order them direct from the factory to be delivered.

Re

Mine has held up very well in the last 2 years. No issues whatsoever.

I was fortunate that my son was at a conference about 10 miles from their property when I decided to buy and he was driving a large rental SUV and was able to transport it back to VA. They do ship however.

We bought ours used, from a private individual. It was 7 years old then.

Had it 3 years now so it is going on 10 years old and doing fine.

Replaced the batteries the first year we had it. No problems whatsoever since then.

I have been looking for batteries. Where did you get yours? All that I have found have a post on top that will not clear the cover.

We got ours as a direct OEM replacement of the AGM batteries that were in it.

Got them at Batteries Plus. Were not cheap but so far, are holding up well.

Could you launch a boat with one? If so it could solve a problem.

There are two authorized dealer in Florida. I bought mine over the phone from Carol at Ricks Specialties and had it delivered to me in Palm Springs. http://www.ricksesv.com/models/cricket/
I have had my SW3 for 3 years. Had a relay go out and Rick's provided the part and paid the labor. They stand behind their product.

There is a similar (look alike) cart sold in Canada that can not be delivered inside the USA and is not supported by Ricks Specialities.

Just got a price....The new 36 volt SX3 is $3597.00 plus $257.00 to ship to the nearest shipping facility which is just a few miles from our home. If you want the hauler and I do its $695.00 with no shipping if you order it with the SX3, that brings the total to $4597.00
I can buy a pretty nice golf cart for that but I would have to use my utility trailer to haul it around, I really like the convenience of the hauler and ramps that hook directly on to your receiver hitch. Decisions decisions.....

I have never regretted getting the hitch carrier. I even use it on my Jeep Grand Cherokee when going to large swap meets and the like.

Can you still tow the toad with the cricket on the back like that?

Only if the hitch carrier is rated to carry the weight you put on it. Turn clearance is also needed.
