First I don't think oil can freeze, it can however get so thick it does not flow. So in a sense it's frozen I guess.
And that is why In my posts I directed everyone to energy department. Heard ICE comment on Bloomberg Financial I think.

If you're going to post "for information purposes only," at least get your information right! I worked for one of the companies you say does not import Middle East oil, and I can state for an absolute fact that they do. Also, Murphy Oil, which according to their own web site is an international; company, owns a big refinery in the suburbs of New Orleans which definitely runs oil from places other than Arkansas.

And why focus on the Middle East? The oil market is global, and most products, once refined, are mixed together.
