In Ct the thing about trailers with no papers. It is the same as a boat or as one fellow put it a barn find car.
#1 have the person the TT was in His /Her possession sign a bill of sale for at least 1 dollar.
Then you fill out a form that the TT is now in your possession and so forth The thing is now you post a bond on the TT and here it's 10 % of the value. Okay now I got lucky in They use the NADA. here and it doesn't have anything have any info older than a 93 so at that point they had to set the value @ a $100.00 setting the bond at 10 bucks now here's kicker if the last registered owner (not the B O Sale signer comes forward and you don't win the mandatory hearing you forfeit all moneys given inc. any &&& spent on (repairs)
So buyer Beware!! in my case the land owner has a paper stating that he had it turned over in lieu of the rent.
So it can be done but please be Careful!!!
