I rarely use "New Posts" as it will not show your posts.

I always use "Today's Posts".

And, I always use "Search" before posting a new Thread.
This is almost EXACTLY the way I read the iRV2.com discussion forum, EXCEPT that I always read the updates first that are sent to my email address followed by #1 above.

Clifftall.
I see The New Post that you pointed out. Right in front of my eye balls all the time. Need to get my eyes checked. Thanks.

I'm curious about those that use "Today's Posts."

When using that, let's say you retire for the evening at 10 p.m., when you click on that you will get those posts between 10 p.m. and midnight along with "Today's Posts," or will you have to find those some other way or hope someone answers them "today?"

Thanks.

I just clicked on it and there were 311 posts from .1:21pm yesterday to 1:21 pm today. So it appears to give you 24 hours. I don 't use it but thought I'd try to answer your question. Did I ?

Today's posts will show everything you haven't read.

After browsing the threads/posts I'm interested in, I click on "Mark Forums Read" under the "Quick Links" tab.

Then the next time you visit and click on Today's Posts, you will see what's new since your last visit.

Wow, this thing has already changed my method. Clicking on subscribed post bring me to the ones that I made a comment in so I can determine if I want to keep it going or not. I will be using the suggestions to refine my reading!

I generally check the current posts, then the Winnebago posts. But only on my iPhone. Almost never on my laptop.

This is pretty much my routine also. The two things that might change that are 1) if I am in Information Research Mode, then it's straight to the search engine or 2) if I have something that I think is worth sharing with everyone, then I will post it.

The entire time all of the above is going on I keep an eye to the "Recent Posts" box in the right hand column looking for anything interesting that might pop up.

I average at least one time a day. I look at pretty much the whole site but focus on the 5th wheel and general discussion areas.

I understand that the "subscribed threads" link lists all treads you have responded to, my question would be how do you "unsubscribe" from a thread?

In the header menu row at the top of the thread click the "Thread Tools" link and then click "Unsubscribe form this thread" in the drop down menu that will appear.

I know it's a small screen and keyboard but it is so easy in the iPhone app. Click on current - scroll through the list - hop over to subscribed - see what's happening with threads subscribed or posted to. If the app had a few more features - User PC - Groups - as examples - not sure I would ever use the laptop.
