I did call in Georgia where I live they referred me to Florida , however after reading papers and post below I did not sign a buyers contract they why they are hounding me , I just signed a truth in lending act . And a towing thing I had told them I didn’t want they are thieves , I already caught them price gouging , when I found a same unit elsewhere for 5000 less they said they would match it , they are trying to take advantage of me I believe .

I would agree, without signing the "Bill of Sale" listing what you bought, options included, and trade amount or getting signed a "Loan Agreement" there is no sale here.

I'm just a little confused when you say you spent a night in it. New or used unit?

Haleygirl,
When you respond, please quote what posting you are responding to as it makes it impossible to follow a bouncing ball in a dark room.

Also, price gouging refers to raising prices on goods and services during a state of emergency. They can ask any price that they want to for a unit. Just because you found one somewhere else cheaper doesn't mean that they are gouging. Maybe they wanted wiggle room and the one 5K cheaper has soft floors from water damage.

This sounds like a very reasonable thing that they did. They had no obligation to do this IMO.

This may be a bad idea,, but I wonder if going straight to the bank and telling them directly that you wanted out of the deal might stop the deal?

Other thing, it sounds as though the OP is not that experienced with the buying process. Not sure who she could turn to but getting someone, a relative or friend that was more experienced handling this kind of transaction, might be of benefit.

If you're worried you should call your District Attorney's consumer affairs office or your state attorney general.
There are very few states where this is true.

I see you are from Georgia. Is that where you are now? Of so check with your state AG office or consumer affairs and find out if you have a buyer's remorse clause there.

Pay a lawyers office to write them a simple letter requesting cancellation. If you didn't agree to the items in the contract then don't sign it. If they can change it to meet your terms and prices then proceed with the sale. In the future sign nothing until you are sure. If anyone tries to make me sign anything before I'm ready I walk every time no matter what i'm buying.
