I don't know exactly where to post this, but in this day of negativity, I have a very positive experience to share with my fellow RV'ers. We purchased a 2005 Newmar Scottsdale Class A from Tom Johnson RV Center in Marion, NC back in October. We picked it up, stayed in their CG a couple of days to make certain all was working properly. Then living in Tennessee, we made the 300 mile trip home. Well, when we got home, we found that the roadside slide would not close completely. I called the dealership, and they told me that if I brought it back, they would take care of the problem. Not wanting to drive the 600 roundtrip miles, I asked what else I could do. They told me to have it fixed locally and send them the bill. I did, and today I got a check to re-imburse me for the repair. I was pleasantly surprised that they actually paid me for the fix. Needless to say where I will be taking my business the next time we get in the mood to upgrade. Just thought everyone should know that there are good people out there.

It is good to hear this kind of news. What was the problem exactly?

The timing was off and had to be reset. He used the BIGGEST open end wrench I have ever seen, climbed under the slide, gained access through the bay, and somehow realigned it and the timing. I had a grin the size of Texas. Have a Happy Holiday to all.

Bought our used Winnebago Brave from Tom Johnson last summer. Stayed in the campground a couple of days to be sure everything worked as promised. Had a couple of things fixed and went back to the campground for 3 more days more. 6 weeks later we were camping and my wife noticed we had no inspection window sticker as required by North Carolina. Called Tom Johnsons and they said to get it inspected locally and send them the bill. No problems with inspection. No questions asked, recieved check and apogogy the next week. Not a costly repain but handled well by an outstanding dealer.
