Not sure on the campsites in NC. But I do know that you are cutting your grass too short... Lift that deck up a bit Gracie.

we enjoyed the places we stayed in Cherokee, except for the KOA that was unrealistically expensive (maybe because there was a motorcycle rally that week)

Other places had permanent crack head residents living in broken down shack trailers and we just drove on.

Hard to generalize re: one town much less the state

Jim, that looks like the Pride RV Resort on Hwy 276! We have stayed there every fall for several years and love it!

It also could be Creekwood Farms RV Park , right next door.

It is Creekwood and our favorite campground. We only live 2 miles from here now but still come for a few days every now and then to relax by the creek. My wife is an author and she says sitting by the creek inspires her

Does that Marine (think his name was Bob ) still manage it ? It had the cleanest bath rooms I've ever seen. I don't use them but he insisted we go take a look .

Sorry, Y'all!

Most of this involves having a bit of a chip on my shoulder... Probably an unwarranted one at that. And I can be charged with PUI.* I'll watch that in the future.

*Posting Under The Influence... Too many White Russians on a Saturday night.

No problem! We're all guilty of opening mouth before engaging brain sometimes! Thanks for "manning up"!

I agree with Joe. I am still curious as to what campground you were at?
