Desperate need of a Carrier AC dealer along I40
We are in Crossville, Tn and need a Carrier RV dealer along I 40 west of here,we are trying to get to the National rally. Carrier will not help me find one I am on my own. They quit making these units last fall.

Mike, I appreciate the help. Carrier would not give me a location where I could find one. I took the locator that you gave me and after a few calls got the number for the distributor in Atlanta. Now I am waiting for a call back. We are going to head west and hope we can get one sent to a Carrier dealer along the way.

diandtom:
You might give Family Campers a call in the morning.
They are in Lebanon,Tn. About 1 mi. so on US 231.
Exit #238 as best I remember..
PH #615.547.0000..
They did electrical repair work for me in May.
I was satisfied with the repairs.
Good luck...

No repairs on this one,it needs a new unit,it was checked over by a service tech from Knoxville. We just got the rig in Jan, and only have used the air conditioner a few days.

New units do go bad every once in a while. Good luck on the rest of the trip.

Make sure you have all your paperwork and possibly a technicians report of sorts as I can envision Carrier fighting this if you didn't get authorization for replacement from them.

Tom, glad to hear that you have gotten the a new unit on its way and Carrier is footing the bill. Submit the invoice for the initial diagnostics for reimbursement. Good luck and have a safe trip.
