Dicor 551

I am not having luck getting a call back from Dicor. I can't seem to find where it says if you can use Dicor non sag 551 on a fiberglass roof.

Anyone know if I can? TIA

I've used both non sag and self leveling on my Filon (fiberglass) roof and it works well. Most recently when I installed solar panels. I used it as a glue under the tilt brackets and around the screw heads. Also used dollops of it to secure the wires to the panels to the rooftop. It sticks quite well to the fiberglass roof.

Yes, it will work fine on fiberglass but for a roof you may have better luck with 501 self leveling. The 551 does not level and is thicker, so harder to apply and look decent.

Dicor 551 works fine on almost any surface. However, there are other products that work well on fiberglass or metal roofs, e.g. Geocel Proflex.

Thank you Gary, SPK64 and astrnmrtom. I do appreciate the info.

SPK64, I do use the self leveling on parts of my roof. Part of my roof wraps around to the vertical surface. I have to do some caulking of that area.
