The federal tax is only 6 cents more on Diesel and it takes less processing to make Diesel.
It’s the reason prices are going up on everything. It starts with the truckers who pay more so the retailer pays more so we pay more. But the oil companies get to post big profits. We need to boycott like we did in the 70’s. Don’t buy from Mobil for a week or two. Their profits drop and they drop their price. Then we move on to Shell and you get the picture.

It's because the same oil that is used to make diesel is also used to make gasoline, and gas is in higher demand, so less diesel is made, and the law of supply and demand causes the cost to go up.
