Lifetime member in a weak moment. If I had it to do over again, I would decline. The 10% off is just not worth it.
As far as the clubs, I've tried with two in the Puget Sound area and felt like a outsider. Never again!

I think that GS is going to be under new management, they have a new leader if I'm not mistaken. I heard or read somewhere that they are looking into a lot of the issues that have been listed here. That's why I quit the NRA , pay 15 dollars to join and get 30 dollars of junk mail or always selling you something.

I renew on a year to year basis and like posted above, I do get tired of the volume of junk mail. I try to take it with a grain of salt as I do occationally use the discount on trips back to Texas and I like the Highways magazine and am currently enrolled in the GS ERS program.

I renew every year, both GS and CW presidents club.

To what extent are these two combined now?
I use both for different things (campsite discounts / CW strore stuff) , sure would be nice to combine services and only pay for one.

I opted out of the junk mail, very seldom get any other than the Good Sam magazine!

Life members are automatically members of President Club now. Supposed to be more discounts/perks coming too like higher fuel discounts for more years of membership. Plus a choice of Trailer World, Motorhome Magazine or the Good Sam mag, so far that hasn't happened either but that's what Marcus promised at the Redmond Good Sam rally.

We just renewed for three years. We travel a lot and the card has paid for itself.

The best reason though is the fact that they sponsor this forum. I appreciate that fact.

I renewed on line a couple of days ago. The Good Sam card always pays for itself, plus a lot more. No doubt they spend a lot of direct mail ads, but that is their right to do so.

I did for the 10% discount. I don't receive any junk mail or emails from them. You can call and opt out or go to your account on-line and opt of the stuff you don't want to receive. I called, the lady was very helpful. It took about 2 to 3 weeks for the snail mail to stop, the email stopped that day. Never understood why people just don't opt out.

Between GS and PA I find pretty good deals on CGs.

Nope! I rate Good Sam Club right up there next to AARP. Always trying to sell you something. I do just fine without belonging to either organization. Wish I could find a way to get off thier mailing list.

I renew it when I know that I will use it enough to make it worth it.

Just a correction.

Good Sam is not an iRV2 sponsor.
