There is a big new truck stop at the junction of the I-15 and 95 , it's busy , can't remember if it's a Loves or Flying J .
Could you make it to Alamo on the 95 ?
Fuel there, Sinclair, was cheaper than Vegas when I went south in Oct. easy access.

Where are you leaving from ?
Parker AZ has two new truck stops at each end of town , so you don't have to cross the highway to stop for fuel . Filling up there ( also cheaper than Vegas when I left in March ) I can make it to Jerome ID , on the 95 just north of the I-84, new station on the west side across from the Flying J with better price for diesel.

Just north of Vegas on I-15 is a Flying J. Also there is a Loves at the intersection of I-15 and Hwy 93 but you mentioned that you are going on 95 so that may not help you.

You will find some fuel stops there.
Generally if a semi can fuel there, so can you.
Get used to using a map because it will be difficult to give you specifics every 400 miles in every direction

There is a fuel stop just north of Vegas on the east side of the highway (might be the Flying J posted above) that was the first place I fueled up my MountainAire on it's virgin (for me) drive post restoration. It even has a RV dump site. (I think it was $10 charge to dump).

When you get to the I15, go North to the Cheyenne exit. Take Cheyenne West staying to the right. The next light is Morton's Flying J. When you finish, come out of there, turn left back onto Cheyenne, staying again to the right. You will be going South now on I15 back to 95 then North on 95 toward Tonopah/Reno.

Hope that helps.

I'm gonna try a Shell that has diesel this week that is not far from the 515 and the 215 in the Henderson area....google maps show it as easy in and out, but the street it's on is a divided one....so, will need to go a few block to get turned around and head back to the 215.....problem I find around Vegas is the lack of signs advertising diesel, and by the time you spot one, too late!

I don't know how you're coming into Las Vegas but if it's from the south I would try and fuel prior to Vegas as it's always a hassle dealing with traffic.

I don't know what your fuel range is, but it's approximately 435 miles from Vegas to Carson City where there is a Maverik station at 1451 College Parkway right off the freeway with very competitive prices. The best part is it has dedicated truck/RV fuel lanes with DEF, if needed (see attached photo).

If you can't make it all the way to Carson City there is Area 51 Fuel fuel stop in Amaragosa Valley (GPS 36.64389, 116.40075) that is easy to get into and has decent pricing. Just take on enough to get to Carson City as the pricing will be lower.

I'm heading north from Yuma, up 95 to Needles, fuel there, then next would be in Vegas area......I know there's a gas station on 95 north of Vegas that carried diesel, I've stopped there before, was just try'n to find a better place....like to run on the top half, but with 2 cans full, will have some leeway...this old truck won't know what to do with DEF....

I was actually replying to the OP as he is heading to Reno but was still composing my message when you posted yours. Sorry for the confusion as I should have quoted him.

Going north from Vegas, There is a very easy in and out in Amorgosa valley, About 1/2 way between Vegas and Beatty, They have auto island and Truck island. Lots of room to move the longest rv and toad.

Winter in Vegas area and summers in the PNW and like to try different routes each time.

Coming south last fall bought diesel at the last Fred Meyers in Oregon and first Smiths in Nevada coming from Susanville avoiding high prices.

In Vegas, it is Smiths or Sam's Club (Pecos) depending on price.

I would stop at Terribles in Searchlight or go into Boulder City instead of fueling in Vegas.

Why would anyone fuel up in Needles, CA ? I know the price for gasoline here is outrageous. Is diesel fuel cheap there?
