Diesel Fuel just skyrocketed

Last Friday Diesel at the Binghamton TA using TSD was $4.09, Today it’s $5.24
Ashland, VA. $4.00 last Friday, today $4.97.
The TSD discount shrank too.
Crazy!

You simply have to love it! You have to put it on your list of things to not worry about because you can’t fix it.

I don't think that's the change Hogdriver was talking about. DeSantis doesn't set energy policy, the Feds do. And yes, most here do love DeSantis. He is far ahead in the polls.

I think the point is this isn't one of those crackpot political forums, left, right or in between, wanna argue politics or grind a political axe, this isn't the place.

THREAD WARNING

This thread is about rising fuel prices. It is not a platform for political discussion. Let’s get back on topic.

And no federal energy policy has changed in a way that would account for this increase. Maybe OPEC cutting production by 2 million barrels a day did it?

It’s amazing that diesel went up so fast, OPEC cut 2 million barrels a day out and bam diesel went up .60 cents a gallon. Two weeks ago I brought 80 gallons of diesel at $4.30 a gallon for a trip I’m taking on October 17 and I figured diesel would drop more and now diesel has gone up. Oh well about fifty more bucks for this trip. I hope diesel doesn’t go back up like it was in June on my trip to Yellowstone. Nothing I can do about the cost of diesel fuel, I just drive the truck
