What speed to do travel? That has a lot to do with mileage. Also wind, terrain, whether you're towing a Toad all can influence mileage.

I had a 7.3 in a 2001 f250 and put and economy chip in it that added either 60 or 80 hp can't remember. Mileage went from about 18 to 24 if I drove straight through on highways and didn't get above 65ish or 1800rpm. Towing on the highway was about 20 mpg on average towing roughly 6000lbs. I believe I had a DP tuner brand, but again not totally sure. They did have a 5 place chip function where you could switch through more than one chip, but I never bought it. I was right around 15k pounds when towing. I also had improved the air cleaner. I would suspect you could tweak yours into the 13 -14 mpg range. Propane injection could get you even higher.

Running about 60, no toad getting about 11. I ordered a Ts Performance 6 Position Chip. I agree (hope) 13-14.

Diesel mileage

We own a 2015 Winnebago/Itasca Reyo with a Mercedes Diesel engine and chassis which we bought brand-new in 2015 (now with 31K miles).
In putting those miles on for the past three years, depending on terrain, we average ~15 mpg which we are way happy with.

You can't really compare pick-up mpg to motorhome mpg - the difference in wind resistance is huge and greater tire rolling resistance is [small] factor as well. My 1999 F250 7.3L managed 17-20 overall by itself and about 12-13 mpg pulling a 10,000 lb 5W.

For the Class C, I would guess around 11-12 mpg.
