If my investments were back where they were a month ago, I'd gladly pay $3.00/gal.

Since my investments are long term, I have time too wait for everything to come back up and it will when the fear mongers quit and this flattens out some. Diesel purchases are today so I'll take the reduced price, but yes I wish I had sold some stuff 30 days ago. If only we could see the future.

In Dothan AL yesterday as I was going to the scales I saw the Flying J at 2.55 and several convenience store around 2.45. Not sure why the Walmart was 1.87 but that's OK with me.

Gas is about 60 cents on the commodities market. 3.50 + at the pump in California. Those people are being flogged and they just keep voting for it. 3.75 for diesel

Diesel yesterday, Saint Robert, MO, at Murphy USA $2.899/gal. Later in the day in Anderson, IN, $2.799. 90 cents difference and it isn’t a difference in taxes.

Last evening paid 1.869 at the Sams Club on Bell Road in Phoenix. No one else in city seems to be even close to that price. Not even the other Sams Clubs.

I just don't understand why the big difference between gas and diesel prices. We just came back from a 2 day trip to one of the state parks and in eastern Arizona we saw gas down to about $2.40 and diesel up to about $3.15. With the price of oil down I don't understand why the stations have dropped the gas price but kept the diesel price high.

I think part of it is the amount of fuel a station sells, as the prices come down stations have to sell through their existing supplies before getting the new shipments in, not to mention their desire to make as much $$ as possible. The big guys that sell lots of fuel like Sams and Costco typically adjust prices on a specific formula to cost, others not so much
Here in Lake Havasu City, AZ the lowest price currently is $2.42 for Diesel.
