It might be worth the drive if I was filling a 65 gallon tank but since I have a small Class C and only need 10 gallons it does not seem worth the trouble and cost in diesel to get there and back.
Good call. You would have only saved $4. It would have cost way more to get there and back.

Interesting, all the price postings and we wont be near any of those areas when we head home in a couple weeks....

Or possibly it's what the oil company does to people who don't support their drilling plans.

TSD Working for us!

We just traveled 1700 miles from one COE campground volunteer assignment to another COE assignment traveling through 8 states and paid an average of $1.68/gal at 7.5 mpg using Loves for each fueling except one at a Petro.
We are continually impressed by this TSD program! Their Price Locator function is also useful if they have recent fueling information to share. However, when we had to 'wing it' at several Loves without any discount information from the Locator, we were always very satisfied.

Here in Boise ID it is still 2.76. Has only changed 3cents in weeks. Gas price is 2.19. It has drop 12cents. We have a certain supplier in the area that controls the fuel prices.

The oil company has nothing to do with the price of gas. Oil is a commodity. I worked in the business for 35 yrs. The oil companies are hurting right now. They are having to sell oil below their lifting cost.
A lot of oilfield workers are already laid off or can't get to their jobs due to CV-19 restrictions.
If the price of oil doesn't get back to up around $50 per barrel pretty soon, we will have another crisis on our hands.
