interesting chart but i noticed one thing about the arizona state tax on diesel. the chart shows $.27/gal. this must be the commercial rate which is $.26/gal plus they probably include $.01/gal for an underground storage fee. but non-commercial vehicles (read as rv's) pay the non-commercial tax rate with is $.18/gal plus probably the extra penny. in arizona look at the diesel pump for a sticker which will show that the pump is taxed at either the $.18/gal or $.26/gal tax rate. if you fill your non-commercial vehicle at a pump with the commercial tax rate go inside after fueling and get an $.08/gal tax refund from the attendant.

Salaries are a lot higher out there too. So is housing etc...

Yep, an expensive place for sure on the Left Coast. But, they have done a really good job containing COVID-19. Bravo California!

Tennessee gas and fuel prices

Today in Sevierville Tn.....Regular gas at the BP station was 129 a gallon and diesl at the same place was 229. When we can hit the road again, I am sure they will make it up. Oil people will always have the upper hand. This is my 3 cents worth. MOMCAT

That shoots me getting a card for our cross country trip, Covid willing, in September. Those discounts posted by Todd don't add up enough for me to give up my SS # and banking information.

Diesel update, Geneva, Ohio $1.97-$1.99. Erie, PA at either Lovee's or Flying J, $3.09! Buffalo, NY area, cheapest I've seen besides nearby reservations is $2.69

The best deal I can get now is through Kroger. Periodically, if you buy gift cards, they give you 4X fuel points. So if you buy $1000 worth of gift cards to places you go anyway, you get 4000 fuel points.

1000 fuel points are worth $1 off of 35 gallons at a single fill. I paid .59 for diesel earlier this week.

If you need more fuel, just finish the transaction and go again, but make sure you can take full increments of 35 gallons to get the full benefit.
