Diesel prices Pennsylvania

Are there any others on here from Pennsylvania that have noticed that the price of diesel is all over the place lately? I filled my SUV (diesel) this past Thursday at $4.45 and today the price was $4.29... really I can understand a few cents up or down but $.16 in one week. On another note I also filled in Maryland and the price was only $4.09. What are others seeing and how or why would it be fluctuating so much?

ONLY $4.09??? I guess if you paid $4.45, you are programmed to feel like $4.09 is a bargain... I guess we all are. Once the heating season is really over, we should see a little relief... Which at this point would be in the mid $3 gal range.

Same here in FL. Took a ride today and diesel was as high as $4.29 in Lakeland and as low as $3.90 in Zephyrhills. Gas seems to be all over the board as well.

I just pop over to Jersey. $3.93 at the Hess stations. New Jersey has to be good for something.

PushedAround - LOL, you are right Jersey has to be good for something, unfortunately it is a bit of ride from here. I used to live on Long Island and come back to PA all the time, always filled up in NJ for just that reason. I know they just put on some new fuel taxes here in PA to fix our beautiful wash-board highways but good grief, we must have some of the most expensive gas and diesel in the country right now.

In Richmond, diesel was $3.54 when I filled up yesterday, and premium was $3.51.

Yikes _ $3.54, for the price we are paying here in PA we should get a dinner and movie first. Driving to Dulles Friday in my Bluetec Mercedes, I think I will fill up in VA. Thanks all for humoring me.

NH is around $4.09. I thought I was being smart to top off my gasser before storage, BUT I just traded it for a DP... OUCH. I will be lucky if the dealer gives me enough fumes to make it to the nearest station...lol

In NY where I live unleaded reg is as low as $3.54/gal and diesel is as high as $4.39/gal. That makes no sense to me...
