Not sure what I am going to do but I am not sure that MH is in my future. Perhaps a travel trailer. Regardless at those fuel prices MHs are not going to be rolling or selling.
Wow. That’s expensive. Wonder why so expensive there. In BC it’s 2.20 a liter which is like 6.15 USD per US gallon.

Still. Glad we are pulling our little trailer with an electric vehicle. Cheap cheap.

Safe travels

On any given day we have a 35 day supply of diesel now we have a 25 day supply.

Just a bit more fake news put out just in time to coincide with the elections. Just look at the truck traffic on the roads these rigs are supplying the goods to keep us in the style and goods we expect. If it was true you should expect gas to be rationed before diesel was not available

You got that right! I figure that it won't be terrible. As serfs we can always wind up with less but as long as we can keep moving we will be ok.

FWIW, a year ago it was 30.9. It’s currently back up to 26.

Remember the great toilet paper shortage? There never was a real shortage until panicked folks started hoarding 100's of rolls.

One must wonder why in the US, Diesel fuel is more expensive than regular gas, or Petrol as they call it in Europe. When I lived in Germany, Diesel was much less per liter.

And always remember that raising the price of fuel to a ridiculous amount always makes more of it.

I don't know if you're from north of the border, but trying to equate the price of goods and services between different countries is not apples to apples. When I was in Saudi fuel was one riyal for a gallon. One riyal was = to a quarter. So figure that. Its all about how your country puts cost on things.
The resources are available, just have to make a change to get things back to an equilibrium.

A substantial part of the problem was mentioned in the dieselforum.org post: "Today, the US exports about a million barrels of distillate fuel daily." So, we have a shortage, but the oil companies are shipping refined fuels (much of it diesel) to foreign markets where they can sell it for higher prices than they can here. This should be made illegal, at least until prices and supplies here get back to normal.

Returned yesterday from a 4,000+ mile road trip. No shortage. Diesel was readily available everywhere. Price range $4.85 - $5.24. Class A DP 100 gal

Exactly! For the past 2 months the bombardment on social media and the lunatics (for pay) on youtube were all saying 2 weeks till empty. Not so much chatter after the election.
