Dish removal

We have a 2000 Tioga Class C that has the original Dish on the roof .
Since it is no longer supported by any of the providers I want to remove it for some space for solar.
Has anyone removed theirs , and if so , what is the best way to repair the roof ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I pulled a dome off ours, the only damage was a few screw holes easily patched with Dicor

Here is a picture of what I did.

Mine had 20 screws holding it to the roof and one hole the wiring passed through. Eternabond tape over the screw holes fixed them right up. The wiring access was a 1 1/2" hole and I covered it with a mason jar lid and Eternabond over that. The 4" wide was perfect.
