X2!

I hope every thief thinks every motor home owner is armed as well!

As a relative newbie to this site, let me say how happy I am to see this thread is so long, and yet everyone has remained respectable towards the other's opinions. Most sites I have been on with this type of discussion has been closed rather quickly due to attitudes.

Now having said that, I carry my Glock 33 (.357) with me at all times when I'm not in my house.

If I had a firearm in the motor home, it would be my secret.

I will tell you I have an NRA Life member sticker on my bumper and that may answer your question. When my Mossberg talks bad guys listen.

I am not certain but did Congress approve the 50 State Conceal Carry Bill. I know it was on the table and this could have a positive effect on RVers.

House of Representatives passed the bill (HR822) and it's now in the Senate. There were a number of delaying, sidetracking amendments offered but none of them passed. But you can see how seriously some members take their duties. It's not like they have anything important to do....

They are as safe as the person handling them. Touchy trigger ? Yes, maybe. Keep your finger off the trigger & there won't be a problem. It's basic safety practices

If this was covered earlier please forgive me. I did not read through 11 pages of the comments.
I carry a civilian Tazer. It is legal in all but a few states. I like the idea of the Tazer because it is non-lethal so I would be less hesitant to use it when someone's intentions were in question. I feethat shooting someone would be hard for me if I wasn't 100% sure if they meant harm. But to Taz someone who was trying to attack may even be a bit enjoyable!
