Do you have a Counter Top Dishwasher?

We are looking at counter top dishwashers.

What model do you have?
We would like to here the Pros and Cons.

Thank you,
Tony

Didn't know there was such a thing.

Seems to me it would take up a lot of valuable surface space and I'd be curious as to how you would mount it so that it stayed put during a panic stop.

Geez... taking up that much space to do a few dishes? It's good therapy!

I do. Have had for 3 years now. I got the HOME one on Amazon. It sits on my covered range, beneath the microwave, when traveling. I put some bubble wrap underneath it to protect the glass range cover. I move it to the island to use. Connects to sink faucet. Works great, uses way less water than I ever would. Had never once budged during travel. I would buy another in a heartbeat if this one failed.

Have you ever had to do a full-on panic stop where the ABS kicks in and, if so, did the dishwasher stay put?

We have the Black and Decker dishwasher.
I removed the Furrion gas oven that was never used and put it in its place.

Yes. Where it rides it fits with just a few inches to spare. It's forward of the axles of the fifth wheel, so less bouncing. It also couldn't fall forward too far with both slides in as there is a wall there. And I'm in my truck if it ever does fall, though I honestly don't see how that would happen.

What brand and model do you have? Is it one of the Danby models?

Good therapy you say. When you coming over to do our dishes? And don't say you already have enough therapy or you already get your workout. Grin

FYI - My wife has disabilities and I rather be spending our time enjoying life than cleaning up. GRIN
Plus, it uses less water than hand washing them.

Yes i do she stands in front of the sink in the kitchen counter. She stays put in the passenger seat and belted in while driving.

My wife has a dishwasher, but I've never tried doing the dishes from the countertop - I'd rather stand on the floor...

We don't have a countertop model, but we've had a drawer type in the last two RV's. I wouldn't buy an RV without one now. Rather than see dishes build up in the sink until we do dinner or breakfast dishes, we just put them in the dishwasher. We can get about three days worth in it, before we turn it on. It's whisper quiet and we run it in the evening.

It's another convenience that makes camping more enjoyable.
