Always. Have only parked at Wally World 3-4 times over the past 2-6 years, but, yes, we always go in and make a purchase. When at home, we shop mainly at the Commisary, some at Walmart and others, but when on the road, other than ice and gas, We normally shop at Walmart and then there if they have gas.

Chicken and potato salad for dinner along with a loaf of french bread, donuts and fruit juice along with fresh fruit for breakfast. Restock anything we need like batteries, TP, replacement light bulbs. Spending money at Sam Walton's place is only fair, since Sam allows RVs to park in his parking lots for free overnight in most places.

I generally dont buy anything at Walmart as I have been making an effort not to buy any products made in China, and that is HARD to do at Wallyworld. However, if I were to overnight there I would definitely patronize the store with at least some food items.

We shop there when we stay in their lot. Wife shops for food and I shop for anything that is not made in China. The past 2-3 times I have shopped in Walmart and Best Buys I have found more and more things not made in China.
Now that being said, read the lapels real good and you will see made in---or assembled in----remember to be Made some where, I think 80% of the parts must be made in that Country.
Mexico is the biggest Country with the new labels and a lot of the Electronics are coming from there.
Before you get down on the workmanship remember Sears has been having a lot of their stoves-dishwashers etc. made in Mexico for years.
By making more jobs available in Mexico it may help keep the Mexicans in Mexico instead of Mexifornia or Texmexico or Mexizona.

Walmart is one stop shopping for us especially when we have a variety of things to buy but it's not contingent on staying there, which we always do when in transit.

We do shop at walmart when we do an overnight, but we do it in the morning. we have had the occasional knock on the door at midnight telling us we couldn't stay there. this way we don't feel cheated with our loyality to their business. Once we chose to call all three walmarts in a town to inquire about overnight parking, only to be told, they didn't allow it. In the morning we pulled into one of the stores we called to find four RV's parked in the lot. after purchasing our stores for the day, we asked to talk to the manager, and when he arrived we asked him about it. he hesitated and then stated our mistake was to call and ask for permission. go figure....

Yes most definately I tour the stores and shop shop for what we need, it's where I get my inspirations for the next modification to the RV. These ideas usually cost me much more than the items we truly need. Not only that, there are the people of WalMart to watch, truly an entertaining or disgusting (depending on your point of view) experience. I do believe beaverman has a real valid point in "what else is there to do?" so why not pass the after dark time browsing the store before going to bed.
I'll admit to getting some nearly edible stuff at their McDonalds when just being too lazy to cook, but one take out order soon cures that urge with an extra burst of energy to do our own thing.
