I disinfect a 10 sq ft area around the sewer area before connecting everything, wear gloves when handling the sewer hose, remove them to touch anything else.

I started wearing loves when pumping diesel, and now also use them when removing the hose in case of some residual dripping.

I typically do not use them when connecting.

There was no option for "when I remember to grab a pair", so I said that I don't but tell people I do. I always wash my hands when I don't wear gloves.
I always wear a pair when pumping diesel though.

Yep, sure do. And wash my hands as well.

I watched one guy dump a TT then climb into his pickup and drive off.

Semi-related:
I was at a public restroom yesterday using the urinal. When I was done I turned to walk out when a smartly dressed man at the next urinal stated “ At Haaaavad they taught gentlemen to wash our hands after using the bathroom.” I told him at Penn State -

they told us not to pee on our hands.

No gloves, just wash up after. Have seen people dumping what must be radioactive waste with gloves, boots, aprons, face shields.

Do you wear gloves to change your baby's diaper or take care of personal sanitation? Soap, water, sanitize. Sunlight is a great sanitizer.

No, but I considered a faceshield the first time one of my sons peed in my face.

Nope, generally don't use gloves. If things are done right, all the ecky things are inside the hoses and if you handle then properly, you stay dry. If there is a leak problem, I don the plastic gloves. Will use wipes after wards.

I'm not obsessive about it, but I keep disposable gloves in the sewage bay, and usually use them. If nothing else, they kind of remind you not to touch your mouth or face when emptying the tanks. Also makes it easier to just remove them and get into the cab to move the MH, so the next person can pull in, instead of going inside and washing your hands first.

I didn't know how to answer. I use leather gloves because I have arthritis in both hands, and they make it easier to keep a firm grip on those big fittings. I've used the same set for a some time now. Should I answer "No" because I'm using the same nasty pair? Or should I answer "Yes" because technically I do, but it's not for the reason intended.

So confusing
