If needed, the service manual is downloadable here.
Sometimes the fuse holder tabs loosen their grip and ensure + DC is on the feed wire for the reefer. Find a good pos. and place neg. of meter on neg. terminal of reefer to check that wire.

Run two new wires from fuse panel until fix is found to get you by.

Find the DC SOURCE FUSE....in DC Dist Fuse Panel and check/test it

12VDC POS comes for DC Fuse to Fridge terminal block to temp switch on burner stack then to fridge circuit board
Neg comes from battery to terminal block then to chassis ground screw near terminal block

Thanks to both for your expertise..Weirdest experience so far.Overnight the damn thing started up and was cooling when we woke up. We checked everything as told and had nothing now it is down to 32. I think my lesson learned is to only keep the minimum food in it to live on as one never knows when it will fail. As prices rise..can't afford food to go bad..Thanks again

It sounds like you have an intermittent connection on the power wire(s) to your fridge.

It is not too uncommon to have a bad connection in the RV wiring.

If the fridge quits again, check the power and ground at the Dometic screw terminal where the power comes into the fridge.

1) If there is power there, check the Dometic recall devices that are inline with the positive power supply down stream of the screw terminals.

2) If there is not power at the screw terminals, use a long wire to run from your battery to the terminals on the fridge to test the RV wiring.

Use this wire to connect to ground on the battery, then use this ground for your volt meter to see if there is power at the screw terminal. If there is power, then you have a bad ground. Your wire from your battery to your volt meter completed the circuit.

The same holds true for the power wire, switch the wire to the plus side of the battery to test.

Let us know if you need more help
