We had a Norcold in the '02 DSDP on a slideout as a factory option. Wasn't cheap but when we traded the rig on the Magna the FIRST thing the DW wanted was another one! If I'd have know that I'd have transferred the old one and the slideout!

Definitely keep it protected &
Away from the elements! You could also install a "slide out" tray in your basement.

I have the Whynter fridge/freezer, had great reviews & JUST fit in the small slide out tray in front of the rear wheels. Home Depot had a good sale around Christmas time with 15% off & free shipping.

We have a small 1982 Royal Dometic 100, only works on propane now but keeps a Constance 34 degrees. Would love a bigger one but no space.
My vote goes too them,
