Dometic Power Awning repair

I have a 20 ft Dometic Oasis Elite 975 Series Automatic RV Door Awning system needing repair on my 2014 Newmar Ventana LE. I unfortunately side swiped a post pulling into storage denting the metal casing. I have not tried to extend the awning as I do not want to risk that it will not retract. Not sure if I have damaged any of the inner workings particularly the roller bar. I live in Houston and am in need of someone to straighten this mess out for me. Anyone with a similar experience that can provide suggestions? Luckily I have the paint I will need to paint any new bar needed since we just repaired the other side of the motorhome where I side swiped a tree. Any help greatly appreciated!

Are you looking for a good shop to do the work, or for someone to advise you and doing self repairs?

After further investigation we have a WeatherPro Power awning system Model # 855EU20.001U. We could do the work ourselves if it is not too complicated otherwise would like to know if you have recommendations on where to have the work done. Question for us is whether or not it can be fixed or if it will require complete replacement. The dent is about 3 feet long and is dented in about 1-2 inches. It is not crushed.

Without seeing it and going off how you described I would say that part is probably going to have to be replaced.

Are you considering a mobile tech / awning repair company to come out or looking for a shop to take it for repairs?
There is some RV dealers there in Conroe, I had to buy a replacement water pump and went to DeMontrond RV

I have attached one photo that appears to be upside down. It is showing the damage to the housing with one end of the tube roller uncovered (near the Rear of the MH) exposing the roller bar and awning fabric edge. The other end of the awning (near the front of the MH) has shifted about the same distance to the right. I have several more photos but having problems downloading. The photo shows the start of the dent in the housing and it goes about 3 feet and a depth of about 2 inches. Not sure if the awning roller bar and fabric are damaged. Any suggestions about repair.
