Good luck with your surgery and a speedy recovery! I had a c3-c7 acdf back in December and recovery is going well so I'm sure you can expect the same from your procedure. Neurosurgery techniques are leaps and bounds ahead of where they were a few years ago

Hangin there AzGypsie. I had the old fashion large incision in the L4/L5 area due to a fall that separated them. In 3 months the Dr released me to do what I wanted. They fused the area plus the rods/screws etc. but took 2 more months of PT to finally get back to doing pretty much what I wanted. So just hang in there and listen to theDR's. Good luck
