Downsizing, but where?

The DW and I have been empty nesters now for a while, both retired, and enjoy our Motorhome. The house we live in is too large, and in an area that we think is too cold in the winter now. (Tennessee)
We are looking to downsize, to something a little larger than most small Park Models, but something not very big, as we will be on the road with the Rv alot.
Does anyone out there know of a nice RV resort that has decent sized Models, or rents space for Models. Something in the range of a double wide would be nice, but nothing larger.
I need a place to set the M/H when not traveling, and the social network of a community sounds nice.
Anywhere in the southeast is fine, and we like water.

Hope ya'll can help us find somewhere.

Check this site out: http://www.tgoresort.com/

This is on FL's east coast. We've driven through the place and it's very nice, offering anything from an RV lot to a home with an RV garage. Look in the ads in the back of Trailer Life, and you'll find similar places throughout central FL and other states as well.

This is only one option of many available to you. Others will also have some ideas.

This is another vote for you to consider Florida. CRF Communities at http://www.crfcommunities.com/home.asp has many different styles of RV communities. I like their communities.

Florida has dozens of designated RV communities at various price/amenity levels plus hundreds of villages and towns that accommodate that sort of thing without claiming to be an "RV community". We live about 15 miles east of Ocala in a rural subdivision of double wides and modest site built hoses and quite a few people have RVs parked alongside their home or in the driveway. Propert prices are quite reasonable and the neighborhood friendly.

Another vote for Florida. Just take your time in looking and you will find something you like and some are very reasonably priced.
